RTSoft took part in the 47th session and technical exhibition CIGRE, presenting its integrated solutions for the global electricity market.

The technical exhibition, which was held within the 47th Session of CIGRE, took place from 27 to 31 August 2018 in Paris. In accordance with the new CIGRE brand strategy, the non-profit and non-governmental association CIGRE is transforming from the International Council for Large Electric Systems to the Global Community for Power System Expertise. The products, solutions and technologies presented at the exhibition, covering all spheres of power engineering, corresponded to this concept.

This year, RTSoft demonstrated its solutions at two venues – at the joint booth of Russian National Committee (RNC) of CIGRE and at the individual booth. The demonstration at RTSofts’ booth was completely devoted to the company` unique development - software package Protection Suite for Risk-based maintenance of Relay protection devices. Protection Suite includes modeling, calculating settings, monitoring and analyzing the correctness of the operation, as well as identifying hidden failures of relay protection devices. Depending on the Customer's needs, these functions are implemented both at the level of power facilities, and at the level of grid control and dispatch centers.

The key feature of Protection Suite is its complexity and wide functionality, as well as the maximum level of automation of modeling and control of relay protection and automation devices. By the words of RTSofts’ leading experts, who took part in the exhibition, Protection Suite was markedly distinguished from other presented developments due to these characteristics.

The uniqueness of RTSoft’s development was confirmed by authoritative experts of Relay Protection Department, including representatives of SC B5" Protection and automation ", “PAC World” magazine and conference, as well as foreign electric grid companies and system operators. Among the visitors of RTSoft’s booth it is necessary to mention the delegations of the largest Russian branch organizations, such as PJSC ROSSETI, PJSC FGC UES, JSC "SO UES", Lenenergo, URFU and others. Among foreign guests, who also visited the booth, were international experts from different countries: Germany, India, USA, China, Japan, Austria, Thailand, Israel, Canada, Brazil, Belarus and other countries. RTSoft experts noted the high efficiency and productivity of the meetings and negotiations held at the technical exhibition.

Another RTSofts’ development, AMIGO (Advanced Modeling and Intelligent Grid Optimization) software package, was presented at the joint booth of Russian National Committee of CIGRE. AMIGO provides management of various types of DER, performs forecasting of the load, development of RES, prices on the electricity market and optimization of the equipment and electrical regimes according to specified criteria. Thus, AMIGO provides proactive management of DER, means of controlling the grid mode and adjustable load of consumers.

Technical exhibition CIGRE-2018 proved one more time that RTSofts’ solutions meet the level of international expectations. Possessing a number of unique characteristics, they allow to effectively solving problems that modern energy industry is currently facing.
