SC D2 CIGRE sums up submissions for Colloquium-2017


Acceptance of synopses and applications for participation in the international Colloquium of the Study Committee D2 of CIGRE is now closed. The event will take place from 20th to 22nd of September 2017 in Moscow.

Applications acceptance from CIGRE members and IT and power industry experts was open until the 15th of December 2016. The reports synopses were to correspond with one of the three preferential subjects of the Colloquium-2017:

  1. Software platforms for control of distributed energy resources.
  2. Resilience to cyber threats of information and telecommunication systems in the electrical power industry.
  3. Highly reliable communication infrastructure for traditional and new applications in power industry.

A total of 56 synopses was received, out of which 13 focused on the 1st subject, 19 – on the 2nd subject and 24 –on the 3rd subject. Participation in the Colloquium was confirmed by leading experts and researchers from over twenty countries, including Russia, Japan, the USA, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, Serbia, South Korea, China, Argentina, Australia, India, Brazil, South Africa and others.
